There are a lot of good things that are coming out of Atlanta, some of it gets over looked because there is so much bullshit down here in this city. Whoever jumps around and yells the loudest that they are the best, wins. When in actuallity they are far from the best. I’m not speaking to anyone or brand in particular, I’m just thinking outloud. The Streetlocal gang has a strong theme that they run with and that is look better, feel better. We buy cloths because of how they make us feel, not because we need them. With that being said, having my name on my shirt tag makes me feel really cool.

Hoop It Up

My friends (dang I got a lot of friends, I’m lucky) Georgios and Larry just got their lineĀ [Process] featured in the latest Hoops magazine. As a kid I played basketball with some of the greats, a handful of them are in the NBA right now. But I had every basketball magazine known to man at that time. Those magazines had a big influence on my life today. There is not a lot of emphasis on print media anymore, but somewhere out there some kid is going to be influenced just like I was.

I Can See It In Her Eyes

Meet my friend Jillian, some of you reading this know who she is. But I met her around this time 5 years ago, and I consider her one of my closest friends. I never knew she had a passion for modeling until recently, when she blew up on the scene. She, like myself, is a do’er and not a talker. Through the grapevine I hear she wants to move to the big city to pursue her new found passion. Don’t worry, she hasn’t booked her ticket yet, lets see if I can talk her out of it (or into it), just depends on how I’m feeling at the time. Anyways, check her out, there are more photos if you continue to read.

November 7th, 2009

My friend Maestro put me on to BJ’s music a while back and I have been diggin’ him ever since. BJ was in Atl for a minute while on tour with Usher, and he got some spare time to put in some work, so my homie Rob invited me out to the session. Therefore, I invited Don out to the session because I really would like to see the two of them work together. We’ll see what happens. The track features Sydne Renee and is produced by Nesby Phips.

A few weeks ago I met up with Bun at the store while he was in town for the BET awards show. I got to intruduce Bun to Benny Gold who was also in town that weekend (not for the BET awards show). Those are two of the nicest dudes I’ve met in my life. I really hope they work together on something. Anyways, I asked Bun if it would be cool to be a fly on the wall in the studio during his session with Justice League. Justice League can do no wrong when it comes to making music in my opinion. So me and Cannon shot down to Hot Beats Studios in Atlanta where Bun and JL were putting in work. The track they were working on is titled Greatest of All Time and is set to be on Bun’s third solo album, Tril-O-G, (Get it? trilogy, his 3rd album) Here are some screenshots from the video I did, which in due time will drop. Tons more images if you are interested.
