Self Made.

Bun B truly has a good time working, but then again I guess if your work included making a music video with T-Pain you would have a good time too. Reguardless, it’s good to see Bun and Pain having a good time and not taking things so serious. Here are a few images I grabbed today of Bun B and T-Pain while on the set of his first single Trillionaire [Produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E Leauge] off of his up-and-coming album titled Trill OG, out August 3rd.

Quiet On The Set.

July 1st, 2010

When I’m on sets of big budget shoots you wont find me talking a whole bunch, mainly because I’m too busy listening. I’m very young to the video/film-making/cinematography industry or whatever you want to label it. Therefore, I have much to learn. This type of information you wont obtain from a ‘How To’ youtube video or by Google-ing it. Its called ‘Real Life Experience’ the best way to learn in my opinion. Now, I’m not one to set goals, which surprises me how I’ve gotten this far without any. But recently I have made a goal to shoot a big budget video. I don’t know when, timing isn’t right at the moment, but soon. Stay tuned.

Here are some images I captured while shooting behind the scenes for Young Jeezy’s next feature video ‘All White Everything‘ directed by Taj [also directed Lose My Mind]. I’m very excited to see how the finished product turns out.

For The People.

Laws seems to be a rapper for the people, as I edited this video the song really grew on me. The remix is dope, be on the look out for that and more Decatur Dan x Laws visuals soon! I like the way this video turned out, favorite scens has to be the skyline shot as you pass over 75/85 on Marta. Shout out to Don Cannon on the cameo.

Bun B 4 Life.

‘Nice as Bun B, when I met him at The Source Awards’ I think Kanye said that. After working in and out of the ‘music industry’ for a little over a year now, I can easily say that Bun is probably the nicest guys in hip-hop. It’s cool to be friends with someone you grew up listening too and respecting as a rapper. Me and Bun have a few more things down the pipeline so be on the lookout for that.

In honor of Lafayette’s 7th Year Anniversary, Bun B lends a freestyle over Outkast’s ATLiens for their mix-tape. Mixed by DJ Clark Kent, the mix features Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, DJ Premier, Vado, and more. The project is available now at lafayettecrew.com.
